How do you use this flea treatment for cats?

Your cat can bestanding or in a comfortable position to make application easier. At the base of its head, part the fur to expose the skin. Apply Vectra Felis slowly in one or more spots, keeping the applicator in contact with the skin. Be sure to empty the pipette completely and avoid applying any product to the fur.

A single application provides one month of protection against fleas and prevents their development in the cat’s environment for three months. The frequency of reapplication should be determined by a veterinarian based on the cat’s level of exposure to parasites.

Precautions for Use

• Do not use on kittens younger than 7 weeks or weighing less than 0.6 kg.
• Apply to an area that cannot be licked, and prevent treated cats from licking each other after application.
• Avoid contact with the eyes and skin. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with clean water.
• Do not touch the treated animal for 8 hours after application.
• Do not allow children to sleep with the treated animal on the day of application.
