What is ISDIN Fotoprotector Transparent Spray Wet Skin SPF50 250 ml used for?

Isdin Fotoprotector Transparent Spray Wet Skin SPF50 250 ml is an ultra-fast-drying, transparent sun spray that provides a pleasant sensation of freshness as soon as it is applied. Thanks to its Wetflex technology, it can be used on both dry and wet skin, with no loss of effectiveness, and is water-resistant. Its lightweight formula penetrates quickly, leaving no residue, for an invisible, comfortable finish.

Enriched with ginger extract, renowned for its antioxidant properties, this spray helps stimulate the skin's natural defenses and protect it from oxidative damage caused by UV rays. It provides high protection against UVA and UVB rays, while reinforcing the skin barrier.

Practical and versatile, it applies easily in all directions for even coverage. Its transparent texture is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive or atopic skin, and leaves skin soft, fresh and protected.

Ideal for outdoor activities, whether at the beach or the pool, this spray is designed to accompany your days in the sun in complete safety. For optimum protection, reapply every two hours after swimming or perspiring.

We also offer you Isispharma Uveblock Spf50+ Spray Très Haute Protection 200 ml, at the best price in our online pharmacy.

Expert advice

When it comes to sun protection, it's not just a question of comfort, but of genuine health prevention. A quality sunscreen plays an essential role in protecting the skin against UVA and UVB rays, which are responsible not only for sunburn but also for premature skin ageing and long-term risks. Our experts insist on one point: the regularity and correct use of the product are just as important as its protection factor.

We recommend applying a sufficient amount of sunscreen - the equivalent of two fingers of product to the face - and reapplying every two hours, as well as after every swim or excessive perspiration. Too often, users apply too thin a layer, which considerably reduces the product's real effectiveness.

It's also advisable to choose a formula suited to your skin type. For sensitive or allergy-prone skin, fragrance-free textures with mineral filters are preferred. For combination or oily skin, a fluid, non-comedogenic, mattifying texture will prevent shine. Dry skin benefits from a rich, nourishing texture.

Another point often overlooked concerns sensitive areas: lips, eye contour, ears, nape of the neck, hands and feet. These areas need special attention, as they are frequently exposed to the sun and receive little protection.

Finally, even with a high-performance sun cream, it's essential to remember that exposure to the sun must be kept to a minimum: avoid the sun at its most intense hours (12pm-4pm), and wear a hat, sunglasses and covering clothing for additional protection.

Advice from our naturopaths

Does sunscreen prevent the synthesis of vitamin D? Does sunscreen prevent the synthesis of vitamin D?

About 80% of adults are vitamin D deficient. However, it is difficult to determine all the factors that can alter our vitamin D levels. When sunlight comes into contact with the skin, the body starts to make vitamin D. In addition, although some foods such as oily fish contain vitamin D, others are simply fortified with the vitamin. Despite this,…
