Our professional advice and expert advice in natural health

In Chile, where it grows spontaneously on the Andean foothills, the Boldo is a providential plant: we eat its almonds for dessert and its leaves as a condiment, we use the bark in tannery and wood to make charcoal. This evergreen shrub is now cultivated in Morocco. Several studies have highlighted the properties of the Boldo extract obtained from the leaf.

The major active ingredient in Boldo leaf is an alkaloid, boldine, with recognized medicinal properties. Traditionally used in infusion, Boldo is also offered in the form of extract concentrated in capsules. It helps maintain good liver function and promotes digestive comfort.
