For reliable results, adopt a fixed routine: measure your blood pressure in the morning before breakfast and in the evening before bedtime, always under the same conditions. Avoid coffee, smoking or physical exertion for 30 minutes beforehand. Remember to take three readings a few minutes apart to obtain a representative average. This regularity provides a more accurate reading of your blood pressure profile.
