Contraindications for the use of Frontline® Spot-On for Dogs

Do not use on rabbits, as side effects—which can sometimes be fatal—may occur.

Adverse Effects
If the product is licked, a brief period of hypersalivation may occur due to the nature of the excipient.
Among the extremely rare suspected side effects:
Transient skin reactions at the application site (skin discoloration, localized alopecia, pruritus, erythema) as well as generalized pruritus or alopecia have been reported. In exceptional cases, excessive salivation, reversible neurological symptoms (hyperesthesia, lethargy, nervous symptoms), vomiting, or respiratory symptoms have been observed following use.
