Salicylicum Acidum is a homeopathic remedy of synthetic origin, also known as salicylic acid. This medication is available in granule form and is also offered in compounded preparations. Registered under number EH01967 and manufactured by Boiron, Salicylicum Acidum is available in various dilutions, ranging from 4 CH to 30 CH in tubes, and starting at 3 CH in compounded preparations.
Depending on the type of symptoms to be treated, different dilutions are used.
- Low dilutions (4CH–5CH) are used for local symptoms
- Medium dilutions (7CH–9CH) are used to treat more general symptoms
- High dilutions (15CH–30CH) are intended for behavioral disorders

Symptoms are generally worsened at night, by cold, and upon touch, and do not improve under any specific circumstances.
Twist the tube to dispense the desired number of granules into the cap, then place the Salicylicum Acidum 4CH, 5CH, 7CH, 9CH, 15CH, or 30CH homeopathic granules under the tongue.
The granules should be taken orally, away from meals, tobacco, coffee, or mint. Adults and children over 6 years of age should allow the granules to dissolve under the tongue, while for children under 6 years of age, the granules may be dissolved in a small amount of water. The dosage should be adjusted according to the doctor’s prescription and the condition being treated.
Since Salicylicum Acidum contains sucrose and lactose, it is not recommended for patients with certain sugar intolerances, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome, sucrase-isomaltase deficiency, galactose intolerance, Lapp lactase deficiency, or glucose-galactose malabsorption syndrome.
