Use the pure product by painting or irrigating the area to be treated. Compress soaked in the product can remain in place under a bandage.

- Treatment of bleeding wounds: dab the area to be treated with compresses impregnated with pure product, or irrigate the area concerned with a 20% solution.
- Treatment of gynecological infections (vestibulitis, vaginitis, cervicitis, endometritis, puerperal affections): washing and irrigation of the affected areas with a dilute solution warmed beforehand.
Vestibulitis, vaginitis, cervicitis: 2% solution.
Endometritis: 0.5 or 1% solution in mares, 1 to 2% in other species.
Puerperal affections: 2 to 4% solution.
During injection or uterine lavage, if there is no spontaneous evacuation of the liquid, in the event of persistent atony of the uterus, proceed with its emptying by siphoning.

Precautions in case of pregnancy or lactation:
Studies carried out in laboratory animals (rat, mouse, rabbit) have not revealed any teratogenic or embryotoxic effect of the molecule.
Safety has not been studied in pregnant or lactating females. Since absorption of the molecule through the skin and mucous membranes is low, use during pregnancy and lactation does not pose any particular problem.
