Other chemical compounds: Monoterpenes (7 to 12%), Aldehydes (2 to 8%), Esters (3 to 5%).
Eucalyptus globulus essential oil should not be used at high doses and is not recommended for pregnant women and children (up to 10 years of age).
It is also strictly avoided in: asthmatics, diabetics, epileptics and people with hormone-dependent cancer.
