Equistro Respadril is a food supplement nutritionally rich in plants designed to improve the respiratory comfort of horses, especially in horses prone to cold snaps.
The aromatic essences and plant extracts contained in Equistro Respadril Vetoquinol are recommended for their effects on the respiratory sphere; it improves the horse's respiratory comfort and allows it to eat normally.
Oregano, pine and eucalyptus combine their antiseptic properties on the respiratory tract , while copper, a biological antioxidant, has a noticeable tonic effect on the body's defense systems.
Ground ivy, hyssop and white broth promote the regulation of natural self-cleansing processes as well as the secretion of mucus in the upper and lower respiratory tracts.
Expectorant licorice is a plant traditionally recommended in the case of inflammation of the upper respiratory tract .
Mix the syrup with the ration, or administer it directly into the horse's mouth using an oral syringe.
Recommended doses
- Adult horses (500kg): 40ml per day for 5 days or more.
- Foals / ponies: 20 ml per day for 5 days or more.
Do not exceed 280ml/500kg horse

Each batch of syrup is tested at the Laboratoire des Courses Hippiques (LCH) to ensure that the product is free from natural contaminants, which may in themselves cause doping controls to be positive.
This product contains trace elements for which maximum thresholds have been defined; for this reason, the daily dose should not exceed 280 ml/500 kg horse/day.
