To enjoy essential oils in the air of your home, you’ll need two things: a suitable diffuser and essential oils or a blend ready for diffusion. Pranarôm combines both in one collection: elegantly designed diffusers and scent blends formulated specifically for diffusion. This makes it easy to create the perfect atmosphere in every room, from the living room to the bedroom.
More details
A diffuser disperses essential oils into the air as fine particles without heating them: cold diffusion is preferred because it preserves the oils’ active ingredients. Depending on the model, the device uses ultrasonic technology (cold mist created from water), a dry system (pure oils, no water), or portable micro-diffusion. It’s then up to you to choose a single essential oil or a ready-to-use blend, depending on the atmosphere you’re aiming for.
The right choice depends on the area to be covered, intended use, and your preferences. There are three main categories:
For the nursery, Pranarôm also offers a dedicated ultrasonic diffuser, designed specifically for infants.
Rather than blending your own essential oils, Pranarôm’s blends—including the Les Diffusables line—offer synergies of 100% pure essential oils that are balanced and ready to pour into your diffuser. The choice depends primarily on the desired scent atmosphere:
Diffusion should be done in short sessions (about 10 to 15 minutes, two to three times a day) and never continuously. Add a few drops of essential oil or blend according to the product instructions and the size of the room. Diffuse only when sensitive individuals—pregnant women, infants, people with asthma, or those prone to seizures—and animals are not present; do not diffuse in the bedroom of a child under 2 to 3 years of age. Not all essential oils are suitable for diffusion: in particular, avoid those rich in phenols, ketones, or aldehydes. Blends are intended solely for external use via diffusion (not undiluted on the skin or taken orally). Clean your diffuser regularly according to the instructions.
First, choose your diffuser based on the room’s size and intended use—an ultrasonic diffuser for a bedroom, a dry diffuser for a large living room, or a portable diffuser for the office or travel—then pair it with the blend that matches the desired atmosphere. Opt for cold diffusion and use the diffuser in short sessions. Be mindful of those around you: if there is a pregnant woman, an infant, or someone with asthma present, diffuse when they are not there and ventilate the room before they return. If you’re unsure about which oils to diffuse, ask me for advice: I’ll help you choose the right diffuser and essential oil blends.

Diffusers are intended for external use only. Essential oil blends are intended for diffusion only (do not apply undiluted to the skin; do not ingest). Diffusion should be done in short sessions and only when no sensitive individuals are present (pregnant women, infants, people with asthma or allergies); do not diffuse in the bedrooms of children under 2 to 3 years of age. Not all essential oils are suitable for diffusion: follow the safety precautions for each oil and read the device’s instructions. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes.
