Acute bronchitis is an inflammation of the respiratory tract and often the trachea, usually resulting from a viral infection.
Coquelusedal Adult suppositories are a medication used as an adjunctive treatment for mild acute bronchial conditions in adults.

The pain caused by a bronchitis-related cough is due to irritation of the bronchi, which are inflamed by the presence of substances that damage the cilia lining the respiratory tract mucosa.
For adults only.
1 to 2 suppositories per day.

For children over 30 months of age, Coquelusedal for children up to 15 years of age is available.

DURATION OF TREATMENT
Rectal administration should be used for as short a time as possible (a few days) due to the risk of local toxicity.

This product contains terpenes (niaouli essential oil) which, if taken in excessive doses, may cause neurological events such as seizures in infants and children. Follow the dosage and duration of treatment recommended in this package insert.
If you have a history of seizures, consult your doctor.
Suppository: Niaouli essential oil 40 mg, mild hydroalcoholic extract of Grindelia 40 mg, mild hydroalcoholic extract of Gelsemium 20 mg.
Excipients: Propylene glycol, solid semisynthetic glycerides (Witepsol WS55 type), qsp 1 suppository.
Excipient(s) with known effects: terpenic derivatives.
Warnings:- If thick, purulent sputum appears, or in cases of fever or chronic bronchial and pulmonary disease, the treatment strategy should be reevaluated.
This product contains terpenes (niaouli essential oil) which, in excessive doses, may cause neurological events such as seizures in infants and children.
Follow the instructions for use: do not exceed the recommended doses;
if there is a history of epilepsy, take the presence of terpenes into account.
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: - Breastfeeding: While breastfeeding, use of this medication is not recommended because its constituents pass into breast milk.

Local effects (irritation of the anus or rectum), related to the route of administration, may be observed. They are all the more frequent and intense as the duration of use is prolonged, the rhythm of administration and the high dosage.
AT· If the recommended dose is not observed, there is a risk of agitation and confusion in the elderly due to the presence of terpenic derivatives.
