When should you use this deep-cleansing exfoliating mask?
MKL Green Nature Organic Deep-Cleansing Exfoliating Mask is a COSMOS ORGANIC-certified 2-in-1 treatment containing 99% naturally derived ingredients and 15% ingredients from organic farming. It combines green clay (illite, kaolin, montmorillonite), plant-based charcoal, rice husk powder for exfoliation, organic shea butter, and organic aloe vera. It’s a facial scrub and mask in one step.
It exfoliates the skin thanks to the rice husk granules, which remove dead skin cells from the surface and leave the skin feeling smoother.
It unclogs pores: the clay and vegetable charcoal absorbexcess sebum and impurities, making enlarged pores less visible.
Left on for ten minutes, it purifies and mattifies the skin, leaving a clearer, more radiant complexion. It is suitable for all skin types, with particular benefits for combination and oily skin.
Freshly exfoliated skin is more sensitive to the sun. For this reason, we recommend using SVR Sun Secure Extreme SPF 50+ Ultra-Matte Sun Gel on the days following the mask; its matte finish complements the mask’s effects.

Precautions
- Do not use more than twice a week, and do not combine it on the same day with another scrub, peel, or exfoliating serum (fruit acids, salicylic acid, retinoids).

- For external use only. Avoid direct contact with the eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- If you have sensitive skin, test the product on a small area—such as the crook of your elbow—48 hours before applying it to your face for the first time.
- The formula is fragranced and contains geraniol; it also contains goat’s milk: avoid use if you have a known allergy to any of these ingredients.
- If redness, persistent stinging, or itching occurs, discontinue use.
- Do not apply to broken skin, wounds, or rashes.
- Store away from heat and light, tightly closed, and use by the date indicated on the packaging. Keep out of reach of children.

Our Expert Tips on the MKL Exfoliating Mask
The pitfall of an exfoliating mask is frequency. Once or twice a week is enough; any more than that, and the skin defends itself by producing more sebum and becomes reactive. The clay should not be allowed to dry to the point of cracking: moisten it if necessary while it’s on, then rinse off after ten minutes.
On skin with red or painful breakouts, apply the mask without rubbing the affected areas, or wait until they have calmed down. On the night you use the mask, a simple moisturizer is enough; avoid adding an exfoliating serum.
