When should you use this moisturizer for dry skin?
BcomBIO’s Nourishing Moisturizing Cream is a face and neck treatment formulated for dry skin. It is part of our line of facial moisturizers and combines hyaluronic acid, shea butter, and mallow flower extract with desert rose cells, chlorella extract, and plant-based bisabolol in a rich texture that
Its purpose is to provide hydration and nourishment in a single step. Hyaluronic acid intensely hydrates the skin and smooths the appearance of dehydration lines—those fine lines that mark skin lacking in moisture. Desert rose cells complement this action by helping the skin retain moisture.
Shea butter and mallow extract provide the nourishing component of the formula—the very element lacking in dry skin, whose surface barrier is deficient in lipids. The skin becomes softer and more comfortable with each passing day, without the tight, pulling sensation that often returns by the end of the day when using a cream that’s too light.
Bisabolol, a plant-derived molecule, soothes delicate skin. The cream is therefore suitable for dry skin that is also sensitive and reacts to cold, wind, or the dry air from heating systems—conditions that are common in the fall and winter.
A nourishing cream loses some of its effectiveness if evening makeup removal dries out the skin. For this reason, we recommend Cattier’s Face and Eye Makeup Remover Milk, designed for dry skin: it removes makeup without stripping the skin, so the cream is applied to skin that remains comfortable.

Our Expert Advice on BcomBIO Nourishing Moisturizing Cream
We often see dry skin cared for with very light creams, chosen to avoid shine: they moisturize but don’t nourish enough, which is why the tightness returns by midday. This cream does both. Applied to skin that’s still slightly damp after cleansing, it spreads more easily, and a small amount is enough—which prevents the “mask-like” effect of a layer that’s too thick.
The serum mentioned in the instructions isn’t essential: for simply dry skin, the cream alone provides what’s needed. It’s warranted when the skin is primarily lacking moisture, with noticeable fine lines of dehydration despite using a rich cream. The order remains the same: serum first, then cream—never the other way around.
FAQ
Is the BcomBIO Nourishing Moisturizing Cream nourishing enough for my very dry skin?
Yes: its rich, melt-in texture coats the skin without feeling sticky, making it suitable for both dry and very dry skin for daily use. Very dry skin that still feels tight at the end of the day often benefits more from adjusting your cleansing routine—which may be too harsh—than from applying multiple layers of cream.
What is the role of hyaluronic acid in the BcomBIO Nourishing Moisturizing Cream?
It is a medium-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid that acts in the skin’s superficial layers. It binds water there, making the skin more supple and smoothing its texture. Its effects build up with each application.
Does the BcomBIO Nourishing Moisturizing Cream make the skin shiny?
A user with thin, dry skin reports that it does not leave a shiny finish. However, on combination skin—where the T-zone produces sebum—its rich texture may feel heavy; in that case, the BcomBIO Thirst-Quenching Moisturizing Cream 50 ml, formulated for combination to oily skin, is a better choice.
