When should you take Arkogélules Nez Sinus Gorge to help you breathe?
Arkogélules Nez Sinus Gorge is a dietary supplement in vegetarian capsules that combines, in a daily dose of three capsules, five essential oils: 40 mg of linalool-rich thyme, 40 mg of Scots pine, 30 mg of cineole-type rosemary, 30 mg of eucalyptus radiata, and 20 mg of peppermint, supplemented with vitamin D3. This formula is part of the range of dietary supplements designed to support respiratory comfort, alongside herbal syrups, lozenges, and capsules.
Linalool thyme, one of the chemotypes of thyme, eases breathing and is traditionally used to soothe the throat and pharynx. Scots pine, distilled from its needles, works alongside it to support upper respiratory tract comfort.
Peppermint and eucalyptus radiata form the second component of the formula: their combination soothes an irritated throat. The menthol in peppermint also provides a cooling sensation. Cineole-rich rosemary, which—like eucalyptus radiata—is rich in 1,8-cineole, rounds out this aromatic blend without having a specific claim in the formula.
Vitamin D3 is dosed at 5 µg, which is 100% of the reference nutritional values. It contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system. This supplement is taken as needed for a few days at a time, for example in the fall and winter, when heated air and temperature fluctuations make the throat more sensitive and breathing less comfortable.
The instructions for use recommend taking the dose at three different times of the day: the midday capsule is often forgotten, especially when away from home. For this reason, we recommend the Pilbox Daily pill organizer: its morning, noon, and evening compartments can be filled all at once for the entire day. It contains no active ingredients, allowing you to follow the regimen capsule by capsule without adding anything to the formula.

Precautions
- For adults only.
- Do not use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding: essential oils cross the placental barrier and pass into breast milk.
- Do not use if you have a history of seizures or epilepsy.
- Do not use if you have asthma or specific respiratory sensitivities.
- Do not use if you are allergic to essential oils, plants of the Lamiaceae family (thyme, rosemary, mint), or menthol. If you experience an allergic reaction, heartburn, nausea, or digestive problems, discontinue use.
- Do not use if you have liver, gallbladder, pancreatic, or gastroesophageal disorders, or if you have intestinal sensitivity.
- Severe kidney failure: Consult a healthcare professional before use.
- Do not take this product in combination with other products containing peppermint. More generally, avoid taking other essential oils orally or as lozenges (capsules, lozenges, gum) on the same day without consulting a pharmacist.
- This supplement already provides vitamin D, amounting to 10% of the maximum daily dose established in France for a dietary supplement (50 µg): if you are undergoing treatment with prescribed vitamin D or taking another supplement that contains it, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
- Do not take for more than 2 weeks.
- Consult a doctor if you experience difficulty breathing, fever, or purulent sputum, or if your symptoms worsen or persist.
- If a child accidentally swallows the capsules, contact a poison control center immediately.
- Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
- A dietary supplement should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
- Store at a temperature below 25°C, away from moisture. Keep out of reach of young children.

Our Expert Advice on Arkogélules Nose, Sinus, and Throat
Before taking your first capsule, the question isn’t whether the formula is right for your symptoms, but whether it’s right for your constitution. Swallowed essential oils aren’t taken like herbal tea: pregnancy, a history of seizures, or asthma rule them out from the start; in which case we prefer to recommend options that do not contain essential oils. The second thing we check at the counter is what else you’re already taking throughout the day, since sources of essential oils can quickly add up without you realizing it.
This supplement is intended as temporary support for a few days, not as a solution to a persistent discomfort. It goes hand in hand with simple practices that are just as important as the formula itself: drink water regularly, ventilate the room, and avoid overheating it. The box contains more than just one course of treatment: save the remaining capsules for another time; they are not a reason to extend your use.
FAQ
Do Arkogélules Nose, Sinus, and Throat capsules contain animal gelatin?
No. In the Arkogélules line, oil-based capsules generally have a bovine gelatin shell, but the Arkogélules Nose, Sinus, and Throat capsules have a plant-based shell made from modified starch, glycerol, sorbitol, and carrageenan. The source of vitamin D3 is not specified, so this needs to be verified for a strictly vegan diet.
Can I use a seawater spray at the same time as Arkogélules Nez Sinus Gorge?
Yes. A seawater spray or saline rinse works mechanically: it cleans and moisturizes the nasal passages without introducing any aromatic active ingredients. It can therefore be used in combination with Arkogélules Nose Sinus Throat, which is taken orally; the simplest approach is to choose a saline solution without added essential oils, to avoid increasing the number of sources of essential oils throughout the day.
Can I take Arkogélules Nose, Sinus, and Throat outside of winter?
Yes. Nasal and throat discomfort isn’t limited to the cold season: in the summer, air conditioning, dry air, and airborne particles also put a strain on the respiratory tract. Arkogélules Nose, Sinus, and Throat can therefore be used year-round, following the same dosage instructions.
