La-Rosée Cleansing Shower Oil is a cleansing oil made with organic sunflower seed oil, combined in its new formula with grapeseed oil. It rinses off just as easily as traditional shower gels.

It gently cleanses the face and body: a single bottle is all you need for your entire shower routine, without having to switch between products for your face and the rest of your body.

Its new formula nourishes, replenishes lipids, and protects the skin barrier—whereas a traditional foaming cleanser often leaves the skin feeling tight after showering. In a 21-day clinical trial involving 21 volunteers, 95% found their skin to be comfortable and supple.

It is suitable for all skin types, even the most sensitive, for daily use. The 390-ml pump bottle can be refilled with the 800-ml pouch, which fills it twice.

Once the skin is rinsed and dried, a moisturizer takes over from the cleanser. We recommend Cavaillès’ rich body lotion, which is applied all over the body after showering: the oil cleanses, then the lotion moisturizes—all in one routine.

How do you apply this cleansing oil in the shower?

Directions for Use

Squeeze a small amount of product into the palm of your hand, apply it to your wet face and body, then rinse with clean water. To refill, open the empty bottle without rinsing it and fill it with the refill, leaving enough space to reattach the pump.

The refill currently available contains the previous formula, which is different from the one in the bottle. It’s best to pour it only into a completely empty bottle: this way, you avoid mixing the two formulas and always know exactly what you’re applying to your skin. For skin that has previously reacted to a fragrance or surfactant, compare the two ingredient lists before purchasing the refill.

One pump is enough for the whole body: using more doesn’t clean any better and just requires a longer rinse. For skin that feels tight after a shower, lukewarm water and patting dry—without rubbing—are just as important as the choice of cleanser. It’s best to use the same oil for a few weeks before judging how comfortable it is.
