What is Flexitol Repair Balm used for?

Flexitol Repairing Balm is a treatment for dry, very dry, or damaged hands, especially when they’re regularly exposed to cold, wind, frequent washing, or other factors that can compromise their comfort. Its formula helps moisturize, nourish, and protect the skin, while reducing feelings of dryness and tightness.

Its composition combines several complementary ingredients. Urea and glycerin help maintain moisture in the skin’s outermost layer. Sodium PCA, which occurs naturally in the skin’s natural moisturizing factors, complements this action by promoting water retention.

The formula also contains lanolin, shea butter, dimethicone, andmineral oil. These emollient and protective agents help limit water loss and strengthen the skin’s barrier function. They are particularly beneficial when hands become rough, uncomfortable, or prone to chapping.

Panthenol complements the formula with its moisturizing and soothing properties, whiletocopheryl acetate, a form of vitamin E, helps protect and care for the skin.

When used regularly, Flexitol Repairing Hand Balm helps restore supple, soft, and comfortable skin. It is particularly suitable for times when hands are under heavy strain, such as in winter or during frequent handwashing.

Its 56-g tube makes it easy to carry and use daily, whether at home or at work.

We also offerHerbalgem Soothing and Repairing Comfrey Balm 50 ml at the best price in our online pharmacy.

Our Tips for Caring for Your Hands

To keep your hands soft and comfortable, a few simple steps can make a big difference in your daily routine. Wash your hands with lukewarm water rather than very hot water, and use a mild cleanser to minimize damage to the hydrolipidic film. Dry them thoroughly, especially between the fingers, then apply a moisturizing and nourishing treatment regularly, especially after repeated hand washing.

In winter, protect your hands with gloves to limit exposure to the cold and wind. When doing household chores, also wear appropriate gloves to reduce contact with detergents and other irritating products.

If your hands are very dry, apply a more generous layer of balm in the evening to allow it to work longer overnight. Finally, avoid scratching irritated or chapped areas as much as possible so as not to further weaken the skin.
