What is Novalac Expert AC Anti-Colic 0–36 Months used for?

Important Note: Breast milk is the ideal food for every infant. However, if you are unable or choose not to breastfeed, a healthcare professional may recommend an infant formula.

Novalac Expert AC is a formula specially designed to meet the nutritional needs of infants experiencing abdominal pain, gas, and bloating related to lactose intolerance. This formula has a reduced lactose content to limit colic-causing fermentation.

How to use this anti-colic formula correctly?

Wash your hands thoroughly before preparing each bottle. Use a bottle that has been thoroughly cleaned and drained.

1. Use mineral or spring water suitable for infants, or pure water that has been boiled for 5 minutes and then cooled to room temperature.
2. Heat the required amount of water to a maximum of 40°C, then pour it into the bottle.
3. Add the corresponding number of level, not heaped, measuring spoons, using 1 scoop per 30 ml of water. (Use only the measuring scoop included in your Novalac box.)
4. Close the bottle with the flat cap and roll it vigorously between the palms of your hands to prevent lumps from forming.
5. Gently shake it back and forth until the powder is completely dissolved.
6. Check the temperature (<37°C) by pouring a few drops onto the inside of your forearm.
   Feed this bottle to your child immediately.

Precautions for Use

• Best before the expiration date indicated on the bottom of the box.
• Keep the box tightly closed in a clean, dry place, away from light and any contamination.
• Remove the metal seal completely when opening for the first time.
• Do not prepare the bottle in advance. Feed the baby within one hour of preparing the bottle.
• Do not add sugar.
• Discard any unused formula from a bottle.
• To protect your child’s oral health, do not let them keep the bottle in their mouth longer than the duration of the feeding.
• Close the container tightly with the plastic lid after each use.
• Once opened, use the powder within 3 weeks for optimal quality.
• This product is not intended for parenteral use.
• This product is not suitable for tube feeding.
• This product is not suitable for individuals with galactosemia.
• If your child has allergies, was born prematurely, has a low birth weight, or is immunocompromised, consult a healthcare professional.
