What is the Scholl Velvet Smooth Extra Exfoliating Pink Electric Foot File used for?

TheScholl Velvet Smooth foot file was specially designed to remove calluses and hard skin from the soles of the feet. Thanks to its roller made of extra-exfoliating micro-grains, the Scholl Velvet Smooth electric foot file softens the skin by removing hard, stubborn calluses in just a few minutes.

How do you use the Scholl Velvet Smooth Electric Foot File?

First use:
1. Unscrew the base of the device counterclockwise.
2. Remove the base from the device, then peel off the red tab covering the insulated area.
3. Replace the base on the device, then screw it clockwise until it is securely fastened.
4. Follow the instructions below for regular use.

Regular Use:
1. Make sure the roller is fully inserted into the device. Do not use the device without securing the roller.
2. Turn on the device by turning the gray metallic ring to the left, then gently roll it over the calluses; the dead skin will gradually disappear. Use only on dry skin. Do not press too hard, or the device will shut off.
3. Turn off the device and check if you have achieved the desired smoothness. If not, turn the device back on and repeat the process until you achieve the desired smoothness. Caution: Do not roll over the same area for more than 3–4 seconds at a time. Stop immediately if you experience skin irritation or inflammation.
4. Turn off the device by turning the gray metal ring to the right.
5. Wipe or rinse your feet to remove any remaining dead skin.
6. Dry your feet thoroughly and apply a moisturizing cream for perfectly soft feet.

Cleaning After Use:
The Scholl Velvet Smooth™ Electric Callus Remover with Diamond Crystals* is not waterproof. Detach and wash the roller to clean its surface.
1. Turn off the device.
2. Gently remove the roller from the device by pressing the release button on the side.
3. Rinse the roller under running water.
4. Wipe down the body of the file with a clean, damp cloth.
5. Dry the roller and the grater with a clean, dry cloth.
6. Reinsert the roller

Replacing the roller:
Replace the roller when you feel the grater is becoming less effective. Make sure the device is turned off, remove the roller, and replace it. Use only Scholl Velvet Smooth™ replacement rollers.

Replacing the batteries
Caution: Do not mix used and new batteries, or alkaline batteries with standard batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries. Used batteries must be recycled.
1. Unscrew the base of the device counterclockwise.
2. Remove the base from the device, then remove the used batteries.
3. Insert 4 new AA batteries in the direction indicated on the device.
4. Replace the base of the device, then screw it clockwise until it is securely fastened.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not use on cracked, sore, or irritated skin. Do not submerge the device in water. Do not use this device if you have diabetes or poor blood circulation.
