What is Humer Pharyngitis Lozenges used for?

Humer Pharyngitis Lozenges are designed as a therapeutic treatment for conditions related to throat inflammation and irritation. This medication combines several key ingredients, namely ectoine, vegetable oil and beeswax, grape skin extract, and menthol. This combination of active ingredients and excipients targets various symptoms for comprehensive and effective treatment.

Ectoine is a natural osmolyte known for its membrane-stabilizing properties. This compound is crucial for maintaining cellular hydration, which helps alleviate symptoms of inflammation and irritation in the pharyngeal tissue. Its ability to create a hydrated microenvironment around cell membranes makes ectoine an essential ingredient in the formulation of these lozenges.

Vegetable oil and beeswax add texture to the lozenges, making them easier to swallow and thereby promoting prolonged action in the throat. How should these lozenges be used?

For children over 6 years of age and adults: Let 1 to 2 lozenges dissolve slowly in the mouth every 3 hours or as often as needed. 

What are the precautions for use?

• Children under 6 years of age should not use Humer Pharyngite (due to the risk of choking).
• Humer Pharyngite should not be used during periods of persistent trauma, such as after surgery or oral injuries.
• Humer Pharyngite should not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to ectoine or to any of the other ingredients in the lozenges.
• If allergic reactions occur, stop using Humer Pharyngite immediately.
• Do not take the lozenges while lying down, such as at bedtime, to avoid the risk of choking.
• If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or think you might be pregnant, consult your doctor or pharmacist before using this medical device.
• Humer Pharyngite must be kept out of the sight and reach of children; between 2°C and 25°C; in a dry place.
• Do not use lozenges from damaged or perforated blister packs.
