Treating Neurological, Rheumatic, and Dermatological Conditions with Causticum
Thanks to its therapeutic properties, Causticum is an effective remedy for treating numerous conditions affecting the nervous system, the joints, and the ENT system.
Recommended Dosages for ENT Disorders
When laryngitis is accompanied by loss of voice, take 5 granules of Causticum 4 CH three times a day. Patients experiencing pain in the throat and larynx following a dry cough should take 5 granules of Causticum 9 CH three to six times a day, depending on the severity of symptoms. Finally, in cases of dysphonia, it is recommended to take 5 granules of Causticum 15 CH two to four times a day.
Recommended Dosages for Urinary Conditions
Following a bladder examination, patients with urinary incontinence are commonly prescribed 5 granules of Causticum 15 CH in the morning and evening. As part of incontinence rehabilitation, the same dilution is prescribed at a dose of five granules two to four times a day.
Recommended dosage for behavioral disorders
For behavioral disorders characterized by unconscious or conscious fear of certain situations—such as fear of the dark or of going to bed—take 1 dose of Causticum 30 CH per week.

Administering homeopathic globules to infants and children

Since globules take a long time to dissolve, you should prepare your mixture in advance.
Homeopathy and Pregnancy
Homeopathic medicines have no chemical toxicity, no contraindications, no interactions with other medications, and no adverse effects related to the amount ingested.
Pregnant women can use homeopathic remedies without any known risk to themselves or their unborn child, but it is best to consult your pharmacist or homeopathic physician if you have any doubts.
Frequency of Homeopathic Use
For acute conditions, it is recommended to take homeopathic remedies every hour until symptoms improve. Once symptoms improve, space out doses to 3 or 4 times a day, then gradually stop.
For chronic conditions, remedies in low dilutions (>9CH) are taken 1 to 2 times a day, while constitutional remedies are taken once a week or even once a month. This decision is up to your homeopath.
What to Do If There Is No Improvement Within 24 Hours
Certain conditions cannot be treated with homeopathy through self-medication alone. Their severity requires medical advice, which can be provided by a homeopathic physician. This medical doctor will determine whether your condition can be treated with homeopathy alone or whether your treatment needs to be supplemented with allopathic medicine.
