Milbetel Chaton by Biocanina is a deworming treatment designed to combat flatworm and roundworm infestations in small cats and kittens weighing less than 2 kg, including lactating and pregnant females, as well as in cat breeding programs. Oral administration
In accordance with good veterinary practices, animals should be weighed to ensure accurate dosing.
Recommended minimum dose: 2 mg of milbemycin oxime and 5 mg of praziquantel per kg of body weight, administered as a single oral dose.
The product should be administered during or after a meal.
The product is a small tablet.
To facilitate administration, the tablet is meat-flavored (coated).
The tablets can be split into two halves.
Depending on the cat’s weight, the dose to be administered is as follows:

What are the precautions for use?
Do not use in kittens younger than 6 weeks and/or weighing less than 0.5 kg.
Do not use in cases of hypersensitivity to the active ingredient(s) or to any of the excipients.
In very rare cases, and especially in young cats, systemic symptoms (such as lethargy), neurological symptoms (such as muscle tremors and ataxia), and/or gastrointestinal symptoms (such as vomiting and diarrhea) may be observed after administration of the veterinary medicinal product.
Special Warnings for Each Target Species
It is recommended that all animals living in the same household be treated at the same time.
It is recommended to consult a professional to establish an effective deworming program that takes into account the epidemiological context and the cat’s living conditions.
Parasitic resistance to a particular class of anthelmintic may develop following frequent and repeated use of an anthelmintic from that class.
In the event of an infestation with D. caninum, concurrent treatment against intermediate hosts, such as fleas and lice, should be implemented to prevent reinfestation.
