What is Gallia Diargal milk used for?
Diarrhea is the emission of stools that are more liquid, more frequent and more abundant than usual. To deal effectively with a child suffering from diarrhoea, you need to know how to tell the difference between real and fake diarrhoea. True diarrhea is usually due to an intestinal infection, much more often viral (90%) than bacterial (10%). False diarrhea may be linked to an event: teething, ear infection, anxiety, eating too much rich food, symptoms of another illness... The stools are indeed more liquid in consistency, but the frequency changes little or not at all. If your child is less than three months old and suffers from diarrhoea, consult your doctor immediately.
Why choose Lactose-free baby milk?
Gallia Bébé Expert Diargal is the result of decades of research and development by Laboratoire Gallia, a trusted name in infant nutrition. This infant milk has been specially designed for babies who cannot benefit from breast milk, or for those with specific dietary needs.
For non-breastfed infants:
This milk is designed for babies who are not breastfed. It offers a high-quality alternative for parents wishing to provide their baby with a diet adapted to their needs.
Lactose-free formulation:
One of the distinguishing features of Gallia Bébé Expert Diargal is that it is formulated without lactose. Lactose is a sugar present in milk, and some babies may be intolerant to it. This infant milk offers a suitable solution by providing a lactose-free source of nutrition.
Not suitable for babies with galactosemia:
It is important to note that, although this milk is lactose-free, it is not suitable for infants with galactosemia, a rare metabolic disease that affects the way the body processes galactose, a component of lactose.
Not recommended for cow's milk protein allergies (CMPA):
Gallia Bébé Expert Diargal Lactose Free is not recommended for infants with or at risk of cow's milk protein allergy (CMPA). For babies with food allergies, it is essential to consult a healthcare professional to find the best nutritional solution.
Inspired by breast milk:
With over 4 decades of experience, Laboratoire Gallia draws inspiration from mother's milk to develop its infant formulas. This approach aims to ensure that Gallia products meet the specific nutritional needs of infants and contribute to their growth and development.
Convenient size:
Each can of Gallia Bébé Expert Diargal Sans Lactose contains 800 g of milk powder, accompanied by a measuring spoon for precise preparation. This convenient quantity ensures that you always have a sufficient supply to meet your baby's nutritional needs.
We also recommend Gallia Calisma Pocket 1er Âge 0-6 Months 21 Sachets, a first-age milk that perfectly meets baby's nutritional needs and is easy to take with you thanks to its sachet format.

How to prepare a bottle:
To prepare a bottle of Gallia Bébé Expert Diargal Sans Lactose in the best possible way, follow these steps:
- Always wash your hands and work surface before preparing the bottle.
- Pour the required amount of cold water into a sterilized bottle. Use bottled water, such as Evian, recommended by your doctor.
- Use only the measuring spoon supplied inside the box. Add the corresponding number of scoops, using the box's shaving edge to remove any excess.
- Place the sealing disc supplied with the bottle on the bottle neck. Screw on the plastic ring.
- Shake horizontally for ten seconds. Then shake vertically for a further ten seconds.
- Slightly unscrew the bottle and let the contents cool. Then shake again.
- Remove the sealing disk and plastic ring, then replace the teat.
- Check the temperature of the formula on the inside of your wrist to make sure it's neither too hot nor too cold.
- After feeding, clean the bottle and accessories with soapy water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water, then sterilize. Store the bottle closed.
The simple fact of having many liquid stools causes a child to lose water and therefore weight. First things first: weigh your child, take his temperature, and note the frequency, consistency and color of the stools.

Why do I have to pay extra postage on tins of milk powder?
In order to offer you infant formula at the best price, the Soin-et-nature pharmacy is obliged to apply an additional shipping charge for each box of milk purchased. Infant formulas come in relatively heavy packaging, which means high postage costs. However, these charges do not apply to in-store collection.
