Our expert advice on Vetoform coat and skin for dogs and cats

When your pet has a dull coat, unusual hair loss or itching, it's often useful to act on both diet and skin support. This type of supplement is ideally integrated into an overall routine, providing targeted nutrients that support the skin from within.

To optimize results, be sure to introduce the powder gradually into the diet, to promote proper acceptance. A 1 to 3-month course of treatment is generally sufficient to observe an improvement in coat quality, with a denser texture and a shinier appearance. For animals prone to recurrent skin disorders, regular courses of treatment throughout the year can be envisaged.

Don't forget to combine this supplement with a balanced diet rich in essential fatty acids. Omega 3 and 6 play a key role in moisturizing the skin and reducing irritation. Regular brushing also stimulates microcirculation and eliminates dead hairs, reinforcing the effectiveness of the treatment.

In the event of persistent itching, redness or skin lesions, it is essential to consult a veterinarian to rule out an underlying cause such as allergy, parasitosis or infection. This supplement acts as a support, but does not replace appropriate medical treatment if necessary.

FAQ

How long does it take to see effects on the coat?
The first results generally appear after 3 to 4 weeks, with a softer, shinier coat. The full effects can be seen after a course of treatment lasting 1 to 3 months.

Is this supplement suitable for cats and dogs?
Yes, it is formulated for both species, with dosage adapted to the animal's weight.

Can it be used all year round?
Yes, especially for older animals or those prone to skin disorders. Regular treatments can help maintain healthy skin and a quality coat.
