When should you take Protéine Ressource for muscle building?

Humble+ Protein Resource is a whey protein concentrate powder derived from the milk of cows raised on pastures in the French Alps. A 30-gram serving provides 20 grams of protein. This protein-rich food product fits alongside sports supplements, though it is not one itself.

Protein helps increase and maintain muscle mass. This is the benefit sought by athletes building strength as well as by adults who want to preserve their muscle mass as they age.

Protein also helps maintain normal bone health. Whey concentrate, a minimally processed form of milk protein, makes up 87.35% of the powder; the recipe contains no sweeteners or additives, only light brown sugar and natural flavors.

All three flavors share the same base. The Coffee flavor contains Arabica coffee extract, the Chocolate flavor contains roasted cocoa powder, and the Vanilla flavor contains natural vanilla flavoring. Regardless of the flavor, the drink is best consumed after exercise or to supplement a meal low in protein.

Whey does not contain creatine, which serves a different purpose: supporting very intense and repeated workouts. For this, we recommend Eric Favre Amino Creatine Monohydrate 3000 mg, in capsules, which complements the protein for weight training or interval training sessions.

Our Expert Advice on Humble+ Protein Resource

A whey protein should first be evaluated in relation to your diet. If your meals already more than cover your protein needs, an extra serving won’t make a significant difference; conversely, a sugary breakfast or a quick lunch often leaves you feeling genuinely hungry, a gap that this drink effortlessly fills.

When it comes to muscle, training is the engine and protein is the fuel: one doesn’t work without the other. Spreading your protein intake throughout the day, rather than concentrating it all in the evening, is often more beneficial than increasing the dose.

FAQ

Can I take Humble+ Protein Resource without exercising?

Yes. The powder can supplement a diet low in protein, regardless of your activity level. Without physical activity, it won’t build muscle on its own; the recommended daily protein intake for a healthy adult is 0.83 g per kilogram of body weight.

Does Humble+ Protein Resource help with weight loss?

There is no evidence to suggest that whey protein alone causes weight loss. Without a structured exercise routine, the effects on weight are modest or nonexistent.

Can I mix Humble+ Protein Resource into hot coffee?

Yes, you can. Heat partially denatures the whey proteins without causing them to lose their nutritional value. However, you should avoid boiling the mixture, as this would cause the whey to coagulate.
