What is Biafine Sunburn Cream used for?

Sunburn is caused by the sun’s UVA and UVB rays. A sunburn can vary in intensity and severity:

  • A first-degree burn results from vasodilation of the superficial skin vessels; the redness disappears quickly from the skin’s surface and is not particularly painful.
  • A superficial second-degree burn causes blisters filled with clear fluid and is quite red;
  • A deep second-degree burn is more severe: the blisters are pale because the blood vessels have been destroyed and the nerve endings have been burned, resulting in much more intense pain.

Biafine Sunburn Cream helps soothe:

  • Secondaryerythema and side effects of radiation therapy.
  • First- and second-degreeburns and any other small, uninfected skin wounds.
  • In cases of secondary erythema, radiation therapy, or second-degree burns, it is essential to consult your doctor.

Effectively treat burns and skin wounds with Biafine 93g Tube

Biafine 93g Tube is a cream specially formulated for the treatment of first- and second-degree burns as well as any other uninfected skin wounds, including sunburn. Its unique formula provides rapid relief and promotes optimal skin healing, ensuring a quick and effective recovery.

Treatment of first- and second-degree burns

First- and second-degree burns can be extremely painful and require proper treatment to promote healing and reduce the risk of infection. Biafine 93g Tube works by forming a protective film on the skin, helping to soothe pain, reduce inflammation, and promote the regeneration of damaged skin tissue. By using this cream regularly, you can speed up the healing process and minimize scarring.

Treatment of other non-infected skin wounds, including sunburn

In addition to its effectiveness in treating burns, Biafine 93g Tube is also indicated for any other non-infected skin wounds, including sunburn. Its gentle, soothing formula helps quickly relieve the discomfort caused by sunburn, while promoting skin regeneration for rapid, complication-free healing. Thanks to its moisturizing properties, this cream also helps prevent skin dryness and maintain its natural elasticity. On hot summer days, it’s essential to protect yourself from the sun’s harmful effects, and for dual protection in case of overexposure, you might consider usingOsmoSoft to soothe sunburn—readily available at pharmacies.

    Convenient size for daily use

Biafine 93g Tube comes in a convenient tube format, ideal for use at home or on the go. Its light, non-greasy texture makes it easy to apply to the skin, ensuring maximum comfort. Whether for treating burns, sunburn, or other skin injuries, Biafine 93g Tube is an indispensable ally for fast and effective recovery.

How should you use Biafine 93 g Tube Sunburn Cream?

In case of extensive burns or burns with blistering:
Apply a thick layer of Biafine cream until the skin can no longer absorb any more. Gently massage it in with a light, prolonged massage. Reapply 2 to 4 times a day.

Can be used on the face and body following sunburn.

For people with sensitive, fair skin (phototype I) who consistently get sunburned, we recommend taking homeopathic granules as a preventive measure: Natrum muriaticum 9CH, 3 granules 3 times a day, starting 15 days before and continuing throughout the entire period of sun exposure.
