How do you use this sports support ankle brace?

Slip the ankle brace on like a sock, making sure the blue line is facing upward.
Secure the Velcro strap, starting on the side opposite the affected ligament:
Toward the outside of the foot for a medial (inner) ligament injury.
Toward the inside of the foot for a lateral (outer) ligament injury.
Pass the strap under the foot, then wrap it around the instep.
Run the strap diagonally across the top of the foot, then bring it back around the ankle.
Attach the Velcro strip to the strap itself for a secure fit.
