When should you use this nourishing face and body balm?
G5 MMST Balm is a rich emulsion that combines monomethylsilanetriol (MMST), a form of organic silicon, with shea butter and cocoa butter, olive squalene, and sunflower oil, supplemented with panthenol, vitamin E, and extracts of brown algae and seawater. This multi-purpose balm is part of a line of nourishing body care products and can also be massaged onto the face.
Plant-based butters, squalene, and sunflower oil give it its nourishing properties. Its rich texture is ideal for areas where the skin becomes dry and rough: elbows, knees, shins, the backs of the hands, or cheekbones exposed to the cold.
When massaged in slowly, it soothes skin that feels tight after a shower, exposure to the wind, or a day spent indoors in a heated environment. It leaves the skin feeling comfortable, without causing any tightness during the massage.
Designed for the face and body, it replaces several jars in the bathroom or in a travel kit: a single tube covers evening facial care, hands dried out by the cold, and rough areas of the body during the winter months.
A balm works best on skin that hasn’t been dried out by cleansing. For this, we recommend Eucerin pH5 Cleansing Gel, which gently cleanses the skin on the face and body: when applied afterward to clean skin, the G5 MMST Balm replenishes the lipids that water and the cleanser may have stripped away.

Precautions
- For external use only. Do not ingest.
- Do not use around the eyes. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
- Do not apply to damaged skin: wounds, scrapes, open cracks, burns, or irritated skin.
- Contains benzyl alcohol, which may cause a contact allergy in sensitive individuals. Do not use if you have a known allergy to any of the ingredients.
- On oily or acne-prone skin, the richness of the formula—particularly its cocoa butter content—may promote the formation of blackheads: use the balm only on dry areas of the face.
- Discontinue use if redness, tingling, or itching occurs, and consult a pharmacist.
- No minimum age is specified: before using on a young child, consult a pharmacist.
- If dryness persists despite treatment, spreads, or is accompanied by red patches, itching, or oozing, seek medical advice.
- Store at room temperature, away from heat. Close tightly after use. Keep out of reach of children.

Our expert advice on MMST G5 Balm for the face and body
The first thing to check is the condition of your skin: this balm is intended for dry but intact skin. Silicon is often mistakenly associated with skin repair. That is not the role of a cosmetic product, and cracked or raw skin requires a different product, selected with the help of a pharmacist.
For dry skin, consistency matters more than quantity. A small amount is enough for one area: warmed between your palms, it spreads more easily—especially in the evening after a shower, on skin that’s still slightly damp. A thin layer every day during the colder months provides greater comfort than a thick layer applied occasionally.
FAQ
What is the purpose of organic silicon in MMST G5 Balm?
MMST is included as a skincare ingredient, alongside plant-based butters and oils. When applied topically, it does not provide the body with silicon: the balm is not a substitute for an oral silicon supplement and does not supplement it.
Can I massage the MMST G5 Balm into my joints or muscles?
It can be massaged into the skin on any part of the body, including the knees and elbows, and the massage itself provides a moment of relaxation. However, it is primarily a skincare product: it is not formulated to act on joints or muscles, and persistent pain requires medical attention.
What’s the difference between MMST G5 Balm and a moisturizer?
A cream is a lighter, water-based emulsion that absorbs quickly and is suitable for normal skin. G5 MMST Balm is thicker and rich in shea and cocoa butters: it’s designed for dry areas and leaves a more noticeable film that takes a little longer to absorb.
