What are the side effects and contraindications?
For external use only. Do not swallow. Do not spray into the eyes. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly. Store in a clean, dry place away from heat, light, and moisture. Always keep out of reach of children. Known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients (chlorhexidine or quaternary ammonium compounds). This product must not come into contact with the brain or meninges, the eye, or enter the ear canal in cases of a perforated eardrum. This product must not be used on mucous membranes, particularly genital mucous membranes (risk of balanitis or erosive vaginitis). This product must not be used to disinfect medical or surgical equipment.

- If you are allergic to the active substance or to any of the other ingredients listed in section 6;
- in the ear canal, in the event of tympanic perforation, or in the eyes
- on mucous membranes, particularly genital mucous membranes;
- Do not use to disinfect medical and surgical equipment.

Special warnings
Do not use on large surfaces, under occlusive dressings, on deeply burned skin, or on the skin of premature babies or infants, as there is a risk of it entering the general circulation.
This medicine is only a local antiseptic. Its action only reduces the number of micro-organisms.
Use with caution in neonates, particularly premature infants.
HEXICID, solution for topical application may cause chemical burns to the skin.
HEXICID, solution for topical application must not come into contact with the eye, as it may cause visual damage. If it comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately and thoroughly with water.
