Remove the cap from the bottom of the device. Take one of the blue-colored plates out of its packaging and slide it under the protective heating grid.
Remove the small protective cap from the butane cartridge and screw it firmly into the bottom of the device. Turn the cartridge clockwise until it clicks into place. Make sure the cartridge is fully inserted. One cartridge lasts about 12 hours.
Turn the diffuser base clockwise to the “ON” position.
Wait 5 to 10 seconds, then turn the diffuser base to the “start” position until you hear a click.
When finished using the diffuser, turn it to the “off” position. Allow the diffuser to cool completely before storing it.
