Administration of Vaccinotoxinum helps prevent the appearance of blisters and the formation of scabs. This remedy is used in low dilutions for acute symptoms and in high dilutions for chronic conditions. It helps relieve pain and reduces itching.

To treat cold sores, combine the following remedies: one dose of Vaccinotoxinum 9 CH with 5 granulesof Apis mellifica 15 CH, taken 5 times in case of swelling, and 5 granules of Rhus toxicodendron 9 CH to prevent blisters from forming or to make them disappear quickly.
