SOLARAY GRAPER MUCUNA PRURIENS 60 CAPSULES

Dopamine is considered to be the neurotransmitter of well-being, which is produced by the brain when the brain wants to "give pleasure" or gives a "reward" to the body.

It is also an intermediate in the production of norepinephrine (or noradrenaline, neurotransmitter of awakening) and an effective stimulant.

Description of Solaray Peas to Scrape Mucuna Pruriens 60 Capsules

The first uses of scratch peas in Ayurvedic medicine date back more than 4,500 years. In fact, this plant has a fascinating biochemical profile and contains a multitude of interesting active ingredients including L-dopa (or 1-dihydroxyphenylalanine) which is the main precursor of the dopamine neurotransmitter and which was isolated by Indian scientists in 1936.

When the neurons that produce dopamine are affected by Parkinson's disease, the effects on the body are: uncontrollable tremors, muscle stiffness, slurred speech, writing and balance, slow motion. Subclinical deficiencies in dopamine are commonly found in depressive states and disorders of sexual desire.

Other uses of Mucuna pruriens in Ayurveda include:
• restore libido to a satisfactory level (in combination with Tribulus terrestris) by increasing the level of testosterone (an effect demonstrated in a controlled study) and dopamine,
• in cases of male and female infertility (increases the number of spermatozoa and promotes ovulation),
• to improve alertness, motor coordination and fight against apathetic states.
