What is Aboca Fitonasal Nasal Spray 30 ml used for?

Fitonasal Concentrated Nasal Spray is a nasal spray from Aboca. This medical device decongests and thins mucus while protecting and promoting the regeneration of the nasal mucosa. It relieves symptoms of a stuffy nose caused by a cold or irritated by allergies, and more generally, in cases of nasal congestion and irritation associated with acute and chronic conditions.

This spray does not contain vasoconstrictors and does not cause dependence, nasal dryness, or rebound congestion. It can therefore be used by children ages 6 and up.

Fitonasal works thanks to Tannisal-FL, a plant-based complex containing tannins, resins, polysaccharides, and flavonoids, which interacts with the nasal mucosa through various mechanisms:

  • forming a muco-adhesive film that acts as a barrier to protect the mucosa from contact with external agents (viruses, bacteria, tobacco smoke, smog, pollen, dust, etc.).
  • thinning the mucus, which promotes its elimination.

FITONASAL’s action is complemented by the refreshing properties of essential oils, which provide a pleasant sensation of freshness. The formulation’s isotonic nature further ensures that it is compatible with the physiology of the nasal mucosa.

When should this mucus-thinning solution be used?

FITONASAL is indicated for nasal congestion and irritation, such as in cases of the flu, the common cold, allergic rhinitis, and acute and chronic sinusitis. FITONASAL is indicated for adults and children ages 6 and older. Ideal for frequent use and over long periods. FITONASAL may also be used during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.

What is the composition of Aboca Fitonasal Concentrated Nasal Spray?

Its formula contains Tannisal-FL, a molecular complex composed of tannins, flavonoids, and rock salt which, combined with vegetable glycerin, gives the spray a non-pharmacological decongestant action to thin mucus and facilitate the elimination of nasal secretions, as well as a protective effect on the epithelial barrier. It also promotes the regeneration of the mucous membrane.

TANNISAL-FL is a standardized molecular complex composed of a tannin fraction and a flavonoid fraction (derived from witch hazel and thyme), and rock salt (minerally extracted salt that has not been chemically treated); water, vegetable glycerin, natural eucalyptus flavoring, and natural mint flavoring.

The product is 100% natural and contains no preservatives, emulsifiers, or other synthetic substances.
