Diarrhea is accompanied by fluid and mineral loss, which can lead to dehydration. Adiaril Infant Rehydration Powder, 10 sachets, provides the water and minerals needed to replace these losses until the diarrhea stops. Adiaril is intended for oral use to replace water (rehydration) and electrolytes lost due to acute diarrhea and gastroenteritis in infants.
- Dissolve 1 packet of Adiaril Infant Rehydration Powder in 200 ml of water.
- Administer orally at room temperature.
- Offer as often as desired during the first few hours, every 5 to 10 minutes, as soon as diarrhea or signs of dehydration appear.
- In case of vomiting, the rehydration solution should be offered regularly by the teaspoon (every 1 to 2 minutes).
- Once reconstituted, the Adiaril solution is ready for use and can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.

- Adiaril must not be used in cases of anuria or renal failure.
- During an episode of diarrhea, monitor your child’s weight.
- Follow good hygiene practices (sterilize bottles, wash your hands) because diarrhea is most often caused by an infection.
- Ensure that the Adiaril rehydration solution is properly reconstituted.
