Finally, exercise caution with eyelash serums purchased outside of pharmaceutical channels that promise spectacular regrowth: some are based on prostaglandin analogs—active molecules that, in very low doses when in contact with the eye, have not been proven safe for cosmetic use. This gel contains a thio-lipid complex, a tripeptide, and plant oils.
For the treatment itself, plan on two to three months without skipping any days: eyelashes grow slowly and renew themselves over several months, so a bottle that’s been opened and abandoned after three weeks won’t show what the treatment is capable of. Apply it in the evening to lashes that have had makeup removed—a small amount is enough—and reapply a touch in the morning under your mascara if you wear makeup. Remove makeup without rubbing; place a cotton pad on your eyelids for a few seconds before wiping it away: the act of removing makeup pulls out more eyelashes than an entire day’s wear does. Assess the results after the treatment—preferably with a photo rather than relying on memory—before deciding whether to use a second bottle.
Can I use Ecrinal Eyelash & Eyebrow Strengthener if I’ve been losing my eyelashes for several months?
If you’ve been losing eyelashes for several months, you should first seek medical or ophthalmological advice. Blepharitis, alopecia areata, a thyroid disorder, or ongoing treatment often explain this type of loss, and the gel is not intended for these situations. It can be used once the underlying cause has been ruled out or treated.
Can I wear my contact lenses while using Ecrinal Fortifying Eyelash & Eyebrow Gel?
Yes: the gel is suitable for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. It’s best to apply it after removing your lenses, and you should put your lenses back in only once the gel is completely dry to avoid any residue on the lenses.
