Description of carbactive 120mg capsule 30

The drug Carbactive 120mg is indicated for adults in the treatment of difficult digestions, in particular with intestinal bloating .

Symptoms of difficult digestion
Difficult digestion or functional dyspepsia appears during or after meals. It is characterized by abdominal pain, the presence of bloating, epigastric burns, a feeling of heaviness and burping (belching). These symptoms may be associated with nausea or even vomiting. This condition is common. Pregnant women, with slower digestion and more compressed bowels, are often prone to these disorders.

Liquid glucose (amount corresponding to dry product), anhydrous colloidal silica, magnesium stearate, sucrose.
Composition of the capsule shell: gelatin, erythrosine, indigotine, titanium dioxide.

Precautions for use

  • In case of bloating, flatulence, avoid pulses (lentils, flageolet beans, peas.), Certain green vegetables (cabbage, Brussels sprouts, chard.)
  • In case of associated diarrhea, it is necessary to: rehydrate with abundant drinks, salty or sweet, in order to compensate for the losses of fluid due to diarrhea (the average daily ration of water for adults is 2 liters) and eat the time of diarrhea, excluding certain intakes and especially raw vegetables, fruits, green vegetables, spicy dishes, as well as frozen foods or drinks, favoring grilled meats, rice.

Take special care with CARBACTIVE 120 mg capsule:

Precautions for use

· In case of bloating, flatulence, avoid dry vegetables (lentils, flageolets, peas ...), some green vegetables (cabbage, Brussels sprouts, chard ...).

· In case of associated diarrhea, it is necessary to:

INDICATIONS (summary)
This medicine contains activated charcoal. It absorbs the gases present in the digestive tract.
It is used in the symptomatic treatment of disorders of the intestinal transit , especially with bloating.
WARNING (Contents)
Do not use this medication for long periods of time without the advice of your doctor: tests may be necessary if symptoms persist.
DRUG INTERACTIONS (summary)
This drug may decrease the absorption of other drugs, especially those that contain digitoxin or digoxin ( digitalis ). A delay of at least 2 hours must be observed between taking this medication and that of other treatments. Ask your doctor or pharmacist.
PREGNANCY AND BREAST-FEEDING (summary)
