Treatment of fungal infections with Econazole Solution

An effective antifungal solution

Econazole 1% Solution for Local Use is a drug specially designed for the treatment of fungal infections. Its formula contains a powerful antifungal that acts directly on the fungi responsible for skin and mucous membrane infections, providing fast, effective relief from associated symptoms.

Simple, practical application

This 30 g bottle of Econazole 1% Solution for Local Use features a practical tip for precise application to the areas to be treated, or directly to the mycotic lesions. Its compact format makes it ideal for use at home or on the move, offering a convenient solution for the treatment of fungal infections.

Clinically proven efficacy

Econazole 1% Solution for Local Use has undergone extensive clinical studies demonstrating its efficacy in the treatment of the most common fungal infections, such as candidiasis and dermatophytitis. Its targeted antifungal action enables rapid elimination of fungi while relieving the unpleasant symptoms associated with these infections.

What is Econazole 1% Solution for cutaneous application EG Labo used for?

A localantifungal agent(a drug active against fungi), specifically effective (theoretically) against Candida albicans and on bacteria detected by Gram + staining.

Mycoses: Understanding
Their multiplication on the skin or mucous membranes generally results from a modification of the local balance by an external cause (irritation, maceration...) or an internal cause (reduced immunity, diabetes...).
Most often, mycoses are not serious, but they are contagious, often unpleasant and above all tenacious, requiring prolonged treatment to avoid recurrence.

How do I use econazole EG solution?

How to use econazole solution

Apply Econazole 1% Solution for cutaneous application directly to the affected area, once or twice a day, depending on the severity of the infection. Thoroughly clean and dry the skin before each application to help the product adhere to the skin. Spray on a thin, even layer and allow to dry naturally. Avoid contact with mucous membranes and open wounds, as the solution contains alcohol, which can be irritating. Do not prolong use without the advice of a healthcare professional, especially in children or on large skin surfaces. In the event of accidental contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water.

Give your opinion on the use and dosage of Econazole 1% Solution for cutaneous application EG Labo with our partner Avis Vérifiés after your purchase.

Econazole 1% Solution for cutaneous application also stands out for its versatility of use. It can be applied to the body, feet, skin folds or scalp, depending on the area affected. It can be used for both classic skin infections and recurrent mycosis. This quick-drying, non-greasy solution avoids unpleasant sensations and leaves the skin clean and dry after application.

Its effectiveness is based on a subtle balance between antifungal activity and respect for the skin barrier. Unlike other more aggressive treatments, Econazole 1% Solution EG Labo works without drying out the skin or causing excessive irritation. Users often notice a visible improvement within the first few days, with a gradual reduction in symptoms such as itching, scaling, irritation and redness.

Precautions for use

  • Avoid application to deeply damaged or oozing skin.
  • In the event of recurrent mycosis, treat the sexual partner at the same time to avoid recontamination.
  • Consult a pharmacist before prolonged use in children.
  • If irritation persists, discontinue use and seek medical advice.
  • Take care not to spray near eyes or mucous membranes.
  • Avoid covering the treated area with an occlusive dressing.
  • Wash your hands thoroughly after each application to avoid cross-contamination.

What is the composition of this medicine?

Econazole Nitrate, Benzylic Alcohol, Lactic Acid, Propylene Glycol, Purified Water

Nutritional values of Econazole 1% Solution for cutaneous application EG Labo
Econazole Nitrate 1 g
Per 100 g

Econazole 1% Solution EG offers rapid, targeted action against pathogenic fungi while respecting the skin's balance. Its fluid texture facilitates application to hard-to-reach areas and promotes optimal penetration of the active ingredient. Used regularly, it soothes itching, reduces redness and gradually eliminates the visible signs of fungal infection. Its high skin tolerance makes it an ideal ally for sensitive skin or skin prone to local irritation.

Its main ingredient, econazole nitrate, belongs to the azole class of antifungals. It works by altering the cell membrane of fungi, causing them to die. This specific action also prevents the rapid recurrence of fungal infections, ensuring lasting healing. By targeting both dermatophytes and yeasts, Econazole 1% Solution covers a broad antifungal spectrum adapted to the different forms of superficial mycosis.

Your pharmacist's advice

In the event of candidiasis, avoid using acid soaps: they encourage fungi to multiply.
Excessive perspiration contributes to the development of fungal lesions. Wearing socks made of natural fibers (cotton, wool) is recommended. The same pair of shoes should not be worn for two consecutive days.

Pharmacists often recommend Econazole 1% Solution for cutaneous application EG Labo for its rapid action and antifungal versatility. Regular use helps prevent frequent relapses, particularly after candidiasis or pityriasis versicolor. According to dermatological studies, econazole nitrate is comparable in efficacy to reference antifungals, and has an excellent skin tolerance profile.
Naturopaths recommend reinforcing the skin's flora with topical probiotic treatments or dietary supplements to help balance the microbiota and prevent recurrences. Customer feedback confirms a rapid reduction in symptoms from the very first days of use, with lasting comfort and soothed skin.
