What is Glycerol/Vaseline/Paraffin Mylan Moisturizing Cream used for?

If you're looking for an effective solution to treat dry skin and superficial burns, look no further. Mylan Glycerol/Vaseline/Paraffin Cream is specially designed to provide immediate relief for your skin.

Mylan Glycerol/Vaseline/Paraffin Cream is a skin treatment indicated for dry skin, superficial burns, atopic dermatitis, ichthyosis and psoriasis. If you suffer from any of these conditions, this emollient, moisturizing cream is your ally in restoring healthy, soothed skin.

  1. Intense hydration: this cream works to boost your skin's moisture levels, thanks to its content of glycerol, a powerful moisturizing agent.
  2. Restores the skin's barrier function: Vaseline and liquid kerosene in the formula reinforce the skin's barrier function, protecting it against external aggression and dryness.
  3. Reduced irritation: By restoring the cutaneous barrier, this cream reduces irritation, itching and scratching.
  4. Versatility of use: Suitable for both adults and children, it can be used as an adjunctive treatment for a variety of skin conditions.
  5. Safe to use: Mylan Glycerol/Vaseline/Paraffin Cream is safe when used as directed, and is also suitable for pregnant and breast-feeding women, on medical advice.

Which active ingredients should I choose to repair my fragile skin?

  1. Glycerol: Glycerol is a powerful moisturizer that works by increasing the skin's moisture level. It attracts water and retains it in the superficial layers of the epidermis, helping to moisturize and soften the skin. This is particularly beneficial for eczema sufferers, as eczema is often associated with a compromised skin barrier and loss of moisture.
  2. Vaseline: Vaseline, also known as petrolatum, plays an essential role in skin barrier repair. It creates a protective layer on the skin, preventing moisture loss and helping to restore the skin's barrier function. This action is crucial for eczema sufferers, as eczema is often linked to a damaged skin barrier.
  3. Liquid kerosene: Liquid kerosene is another moisturizing agent that helps maintain skin hydration by preventing water from evaporating. It also helps strengthen the skin barrier, protecting it from external aggressors. For eczema sufferers, where the skin barrier is compromised, liquid kerosene is particularly beneficial in reducing itching and irritation.

These active ingredients in Glycerol/Vaseline/Paraffin Mylan work synergistically to restore the skin barrier, deeply moisturize the skin, and relieve itching. This makes it an ideal choice for the treatment of eczema in all its forms, whether atopic dermatitis, ichthyosis, psoriasis or other types of eczema. By using this cream as directed, you can help restore your skin's health and reduce the symptoms associated with eczema safely and effectively.
