Gemmotherapy uses plant embryonic tissues to treat certain conditions. At Biogemm, the entire manufacturing process is monitored and must comply with established standards.

Here is a summary of the process:

Step¹: Harvesting at dawn (sunrise), using methods that respect nature. The time between harvesting and maceration must not exceed 3 days.

Aquagemm is a unique bud brand; Biogemm wanted to eliminate alcohol as a solvent in gemmotherapy, which is why they innovated. After three years of research, they rose to the challenge and developed a line of organic, alcohol-free bud extracts. Maceration is carried out as usual with fresh buds in a mixture of alcohol, water, and glycerin, as each solvent is essential for extracting the best from the buds, young shoots, and rootlets. Next, the macerate is vacuum-distilled. In practical terms, this means it is heated—but only to less than 50 °C—to evaporate the alcohol, ensuring the plants undergo no stress.
