Preparation instructions: Add the Lactol powder to warm (not boiling) water and stir until completely dissolved. Let it cool until the mixture is lukewarm (close to body temperature, about 38°C). Older animals sometimes prefer to drink Lactol cold.
The prepared milk can be stored in the refrigerator for 24 hours and must be warmed before use for young animals (to about 38°C, body temperature). Ensure the animal has access to fresh, drinkable water.
Amount to dilute: Add the contents of 7 measuring spoons (approximately 4.5 g per spoon) to 100 ml of warm water.
Recommended daily amount: The amount varies depending on the animal’s age, size, and breed. It is therefore recommended to feed Lactol on demand. Each kitten should be weighed regularly to ensure it is gaining weight and growing properly. One liter of prepared Lactol milk contains approximately 1,250 kcal.
