Urgo Ampoules Extrême is a medical device specially designed to relieve the skin suffering from blisters and to accelerate the healing process. These dressings are large in size and feature hydrocolloid technology.
The blister usually forms as a result of repeated rubbing on the skin. It often occurs on strained feet in shoes. A blister then forms which takes on a translucent liquid. The blister is often a source of pain.
Urgo Ampoules Extreme dressings consist of a padded support and incorporate a hydrocolloid mass, which will constitute a gel with a double action: it will help healing and it will soothe the skin. Indeed, the hydrocolloid dressing helps maintain a moist environment at the wound, which promotes the healing process.
The over-thickened relief mesh remains breathable, thus avoiding any maceration phenomenon. The bulb area is thus protected from friction.
In addition, these large format dressings have tapered edges providing an effect similar to that of a second skin. Thus, they provide better flexibility to the dressing.
The dressing should not remain in place for more than 7 days.
Renew it following the instructions in the user manual.
Single use, do not reuse.
