Beaphar’s Habitat Insecticide Spray & Automatic Diffuser
protects homes and pets’
environments by eliminating adult pests, eggs, and larvae. It has a dual action: it acts as both an insecticide and an acaricide against flying and crawling pests.
This spray and automatic diffuser kills fleas, lice, ticks, chiggers, bed bugs, mites, spiders, ants, cockroaches, and moths, thanks to its formulation based on three active ingredients:
- Permethrin, a powerful, fast-acting insecticide,
- Piperonyl butoxide, which enhances the insecticidal power of Permethrin,
- (S)-Methoprene, which blocks the development of eggs and larvae, thereby preventing the insects from multiplying.
The spray & automatic diffuser provides
immediate flea control and will eliminate pests from your home and your pet’s environment (bed, doghouse, sofa, car, accessories, etc.). It reaches eggs, larvae, and adult insects hidden in rugs, carpets, baseboards, cracks, etc.
It can be used both as a manual spray for targeted application and as an automatic diffuser, treating areas ranging from 80 to 160 m². It provides 6 months of protection against infestations.
For optimal effectiveness, it is also recommended to use a Beaphar pest control product for your pet, such as spot-on treatments, collars, shampoos, sprays, and powders.

How do you use this spray and automatic diffuser?
Warning: This product is intended solely for the insecticidal and larvicidal treatment of homes. Do not spray on animals or in the vicinity of newborn puppies and kittens. Do not eat or smoke while using this product. To activate the dispenser, remove the safety tab, press lightly on the notched ring, and turn it clockwise. To stop the dispenser, reverse the process.
In spray mode:
Spray areas likely to harbor insects from a distance of about 30 cm. Test on a small area first to minimize the risk of staining.
In automatic diffuser mode:
- Turn off any running electrical appliances, open flames, and heat sources. Close exterior doors and windows. Open interior doors and cupboards.
- Keep pets away and move or cover aquariums. Remove food and kitchen utensils.
- Place the aerosol can in the center of the area to be treated. One can treats up to 80 or 160 m² (see label). Do not diffuse the entire contents of the aerosol can in a room that is 5 m² or smaller.
- Press the trigger to begin spraying; the spray will continue until the can is completely empty (about 3 minutes). You can stop the spray at any time during use, allowing you to treat multiple areas.
- Wait 3 hours, then ventilate the room for 1 hour. Do not remain in the room during this time. The product leaves a slippery surface. It does not leave an unpleasant odor.
The automatic insecticide spray & diffuser works immediately. If necessary, repeat the application every 6 months. In case of severe reinfestation, treat again after one month.
What are the precautions for use?
Contains Permethrin (ISO).
- Danger: Extremely flammable aerosol. Pressurized container: may burst if heated. May cause a skin allergy. Very toxic to aquatic life with long-lasting effects.
- If medical attention is needed, have the container or label available. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away from heat, hot surfaces, sparks, open flames, and other sources of ignition. Do not smoke. Do not spray on an open flame or any other source of ignition. Do not puncture or burn, even after use. Avoid inhaling aerosols. Avoid release into the environment. Wear protective gloves. In case of skin contact: wash thoroughly with water. In case of irritation or rash: consult a doctor. Remove contaminated clothing and wash it before reuse. Collect spilled product. Protect from sunlight. Do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50 °C. Dispose of contents/container in accordance with local regulations. Use and store only in well-ventilated areas. Do not use for any purpose other than that for which the product is intended. Do not exceed the recommended dosage. Adhere to the recommended treatment volume. Use biocides with caution.
