The mask complies with the EN149:2001+A1:2009NR standard. In accordance with regulations, this mask should not be used for more than one workday. Instructions for Using FFP2 Masks 

• Place the mask over your face, with the nose clip resting on your nose
• Slide the elastic straps behind your ears while holding the mask, without crossing them
• Pinch the nose clip with both hands to adjust it to fit your nose
• Check that the mask is properly fitted. To do this, perform the following test:
• Cover the surface of the mask with a clean plastic sheet held in place with both hands
• Breathe in: the mask should press slightly against your face. If the mask does not press against your face, it is not airtight and must be readjusted
• After several unsuccessful attempts, switch to a different model, as this one is unsuitable
• To remove an FFP2 mask, hold it in place with one hand and remove the elastic straps with the other.
• Regardless of the type of mask, dispose of it in a trash can lined with a plastic bag, then wash your hands.

What are the standards for FFP2 masks for protection against COVID-19?

These masks must strictly comply with the essential safety requirements of European Directive 89/686/EEC applicable to PPE (standard EN 149:2001). This European standard establishes the minimum characteristics for respiratory protective equipment. To this end, it conducts various laboratory tests to verify compliance.
It is preferable for masks to be sold in individual pouches to ensure they are not pre-contaminated.
Note: There are only three organizations capable of certifying the compliance of FFP2 masks (efficacy testing + manufacturing standards): INRS, Apave, and INSPEC.
