Usage Tips and Reviews for the ACCU-CHEK FASTCLIX LANCET

Recommendations (1):
Before collecting a capillary blood sample, wash your hands with warm water and soap to improve blood circulation. Do not use alcohol. Rinse and dry your hands thoroughly.
When using the device for the first time, start with the shallowest puncture depth (0.5) and gradually increase it until you reach the optimal depth to obtain a microdrop of blood.
Avoid pricking your thumb or index finger, and change the puncture site each time.
Prick the side of the fingertip
After the blood sample is taken, apply pressure to the puncture site for 1 minute
For greater comfort and hygiene, use a new lancet for each blood sample. However, in an emergency, it is possible to reuse a lancet
Use the clear base for samples taken from alternative sites. Consult your doctor
