Recommendations (1) :
Before taking a capillary sample, wash your hands with warm water and soap to facilitate circulation. Do not use alcohol. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
When using for the first time, start with the shallowest puncture depth (0.5) and gradually increase to the optimum depth for obtaining a microdrop of blood.
Avoid puncturing the thumb and index finger, and change the puncture site each time.
Prick the side of the fingertip
After sampling, apply 1 minute's pressure to the puncture site.
For greater comfort and hygiene, change lancets each time you take a sample. However, in an emergency, a lancet can be reused.
Use the transparent baseplate for alternate site sampling. Ask your doctor for advice
