When should you use this cream blush to achieve a healthy glow?

Même Blush Crème is a cream-textured blush in stick form that glides onto the cheeks and can also be applied to the eyelids. Its apricot shade, known as a universal shade, is designed to complement a wide range of skin tones and add color to the cheekbones when a dull complexion lacks definition. A single stick is all you need to coordinate the color of your cheeks and eyes, without having to choose from multiple shades.

Its creamy texture is ultra-easy to apply; it blends with your finger, melts into the skin, and can be applied without a brush or sponge. On the cheek, the color is applied to the cheekbone and then blends toward the temple, without any harsh lines, for a healthy glow that revives the face’s radiance. The application remains simple even for those who rarely wear makeup: there’s no powder to measure out, no excess to shake off, and no tools to clean after use.

Once blended, the blush leaves a silky, non-sticky finish. The desired look is a “bare skin” effect: the color appears to come from the skin itself rather than being applied to the surface, and the face’s natural contours remain visible. This creamy finish differs from that of a powder blush, which can clump on dry areas or leave a powdery appearance by the end of the day.

On the eyelid—where the skin is thinner—the stick warms up the eyes with a touch of the same apricot shade as the cheeks. This is the essence of a monochromatic makeup look—achieved in just a few steps and easy to carry: the stick slips into a bag and lets you touch up your color throughout the day with your fingertip. It complements a complexion evened out with a BB cream or foundation for daytime makeup, and also pairs well with a more dramatic evening look, when the face needs a bit more color under artificial lighting.

A cream blush is best removed with a makeup remover capable of dissolving rich textures. For this, we recommend the Même Melting Cleansing Gel: its texture transforms from a gel to an oil upon contact with the skin, which lifts makeup without rubbing, then turns into a milk when it comes into contact with water for a clean rinse, leaving no greasy film on the cheeks.

How do you apply this stick to your cheeks and eyelids?

Instructions

Final step in your makeup routine: Apply the blush to your cheekbones and blend it with your finger, sweeping the product outward toward the edges of your face and slightly upward toward your temples. The color should be more intense in the center and more subtle toward the outer edges. For a “sun-kissed” effect, blend the blush toward the bridge of the nose. The blush can also be applied to the eyelids as eyeshadow.

Precautions

  • For external use only, on the skin of the face and the upper eyelid. Do not apply to the lips: this use is not intended by the brand.
  • Avoid contact with the eyes; in case of contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
  • On the eyelid: Apply only to the movable eyelid, away from the lash line, and do not apply to an irritated or swollen eyelid. Contact lens wearers: Insert lenses before applying makeup and remove them before removing makeup.
  • Do not apply to broken, irritated skin or an open pimple.
  • Discontinue use if redness, itching, stinging, or swelling occurs, and consult a pharmacist or doctor. Any adverse reaction related to a cosmetic product can be reported on the Ministry of Health’s health event reporting portal.
  • Wash your hands before blending with your finger. Since the stick is also used on the eyelids, do not share it. Close the stick after each use and observe the usage period after opening, as indicated by the open jar symbol. Keep out of reach of children.

Our expert tips on Même Cream Blush for a healthy glow

A cream blush should be applied over a base that won’t budge. If applied to a cream that’s still damp or to foundation that’s just been blended in, it will slide, blend into the layer beneath, and lose its definition. Allow one to two minutes for the skincare and foundation to set: it’s this waiting time—far more than the amount of product—that makes the difference between a defined color and a smudged stain.

The order of textures matters, too. Powder applied before the blush absorbs its oils and causes it to clump: cream blush should go on before any finishing powder, never after. If you want to set the entire look, a very light dusting of powder, swept on gently without pressing, is enough to prolong the color without dulling it. Always start with the cheeks: the amount left on your fingertip is often enough for a light touch on the eyelid.

FAQ

Is the Cream Blush non-comedogenic?

Yes, the brand describes it as non-comedogenic, meaning it’s formulated not to clog pores. Its water-free formula contains no fragrance or silicone.

Is Même Blush Crème suitable for my dry or sensitive skin?

Yes. It’s formulated for dry, sensitive, and atopic-prone skin: its creamy texture glides on smoothly without clinging to dry areas.

How should I apply Même Blush Crème if I’m new to makeup?

The easiest way is to apply a small line on each cheekbone, blend it in, then gradually add more product: you can adjust the intensity by layering it, from a light finish to a more pronounced color.
