It complements our shower gels for sensitive skin with a formula designed for young children: 98% naturally derived ingredients, a sulfate-free cleansing base, organic aloe vera powder, glycerin, and a conditioning agent derived from guar.
Its cleansing base combines gentle, naturally derived cleansing agents (Decyl Glucoside, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Sodium Cocoamphoacetate) without any sulfate-based surfactants. It gently cleanses children’s faces, bodies, and hair, with a lather that rinses off easily. The formula has been dermatologically and ophthalmologically tested and does not sting the eyes—an important consideration when rinsing a child’s head while they’re moving around.
After bathing, the skin feels soft and comfortable again. As for the hair, the conditioning agent makes it easier to comb through: the hair is shiny and easy to detangle. A single bottle thus meets all daily bathing needs, without cluttering the edge of the tub with multiple products.
Two scents are available, both 100% natural: Strawberry, with a rich, fruity scent, and Apple, with a fruity, zesty scent. Letting your child choose their own scent helps turn bath time into a fun activity rather than a chore. The product fits perfectly into the evening routine—after school, the park, sports, or the pool—when it’s time to wash both the body and hair at the same time.
Long, curly, or fine hair tangles easily, even after a gentle wash. We also offer Mustela’s detangling and nourishing treatment: the shampoo-and-body-wash cleanses the scalp and hair, and then this treatment—applied to the mid-lengths and ends, avoiding the roots—helps the comb glide through tangles, with or without rinsing.

A small amount is enough for a child: lather it in your hands before applying it, rather than pouring the product directly onto the head. To rinse, tilt the child’s head back and use a cup or a low-pressure showerhead. A formula that doesn’t sting the eyes makes bath time more pleasant, but it doesn’t replace the need to rinse if the product comes into contact with the eyes.
Lukewarm water, around 37 °C, and a quick bath are gentler on children’s skin than a long, hot bath. Then pat them dry, making sure to dry the skin folds as well. For a child whose skin remains dry or red despite using a gentle product, consulting a doctor is essential before changing the cleanser.
