When should you choose the RoC Duo Hyaluronic Set?

The RoC Duo Hyaluronic set combines two products from the HYDRA+ HYALURONIC line: the Intense Plumping Serum Stick for the face and the Intense Plumping Eye Treatment for the eye area. Both formulas combine hyaluronic acid with peptides and are part of our line of plumping treatments for dehydrated skin.

The serum stick is an intense plumping treatment that combines hyaluronic acid with peptides, including a copper peptide; the formula does not contain collagen. It hydrates the skin: corneometric measurements conducted on 32 subjects showed a significant increase in skin hydration levels 100 hours after application.

The eye treatment, which is also an intense plumping treatment, combines hyaluronic acid, peptides, and caffeine in a texture suited for the eye area. After 8 weeks of use, 97% of participants had visibly more hydrated skin (corneometric measurements, 34 participants).

The stick is applied directly to the skin, without using your fingers, making it a quick step in both your morning and evening routines. Together, the two products cover the face and eye area in a single moisturizing routine.

Apply the stick to cleansed skin: for this step, we recommend the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Aqua-Gel Cleanser, a cleansing gel containing the same active ingredient, hyaluronic acid.

How do you use the RoC serum stick and eye treatment?

Directions for Use

Serum stick: Before first use, twist the stick upward and remove the protective cap; apply to the face after cleansing, in the morning and/or at night. Eye cream: Apply small dots around the eyes and gently massage until fully absorbed.

Precautions

  • Cosmetics should generally be applied to unbroken skin.
  • If you have sensitive skin, perform a patch test first by applying a small amount of the product to the inside of your wrist or neck overnight.
  • If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a dermatologist to confirm your skincare routine.
  • Use within 12 months after opening.

Our expert advice on the RoC Duo Hyaluronic set

This set hydrates and plumps the skin; it does not provide sun protection. However, UV exposure has the greatest impact on the appearance of wrinkles over time. In the morning, always finish your routine with sunscreen, regardless of the weather.

The skin around the eyes is the thinnest on the face: a small amount is enough, applied by gently patting without stretching the skin. Excess product can migrate toward the eye and may cause a stinging sensation.

FAQ

In what order should I apply the serum stick and the eye treatment from the RoC Duo Hyaluronic set?

Apply the lighter-textured product first: the serum stick to your cleansed face, then the eye treatment to the eye area, before applying any day or night cream.

Do I need to use a moisturizer after the serum stick from the RoC Duo Hyaluronic set?

A serum is concentrated with active ingredients but provides little nourishment. Normal skin may be fine with just the stick; dry or tight-feeling skin will benefit from following it with a richer cream on top.
