When should you use this Roger&Gallet home fragrance?
The Roger&Gallet Home Fragrance is a room spray designed to scent the rooms in your home. It comes in four scents inspired by aromachology, each enriched with a natural extract or essential oil: mimosa absolute, myrrh extract, petitgrain essential oil, or pine essential oil. It bringsthe Roger&Gallet olfactory universe—known for its perfumed waters—into your home.
Coucouning combines a fresh-laundry accord with mimosa and palo santo, along with notes of elemi and white musk: a enveloping, soft scent designed for the bedroom. Basta Cosy blends roasted sesame, vanilla, tonka bean, and myrrh with a paper accord, creating a living room scent with gourmand and woody notes.
Comme un dimanche blends petitgrain, orange blossom, and patchouli, brightened by passion fruit, citrus, and jasmine: a luminous scent for the whole house. “Souffle un coup” combines blackcurrant, eucalyptus, and pine with hints of wildflowers, creating a green, woodland-like note for the living room.
The idea is to choose a scent based on the room and the moment: a soft note in the bedroom before bed, a richer note in the living room in the evening, and a fresh note upon returning from a walk. A few sprays are enough to scent a room, and you can refresh the scent as often as you like.
This spray scents the air in a room, not your skin or the clothes you’re wearing. To carry a scent with you, a perfumed water takes over: we recommend choosing notes from the same fragrance family as those in your home—floral with Coucouning, gourmand with Basta Cosy, citrus with Comme un dimanche, or green with Souffle un coup—so that the two complement each other without clashing.

Our expert tips on this home fragrance
The strength of a home fragrance should be based on the sense of smell of those living in the room, not the person spraying it: two or three sprays in a closed room are often enough; you quickly get used to a scent to the point where you no longer notice it. Spray toward the center of the room, high up, rather than toward furniture or fabrics.
The skin allergy warning is the most important thing to check before making a purchase if you’re sensitive to fragrances: each scent has its own list of ingredients, which should be compared with those already identified by a dermatologist. A home fragrance enhances the atmosphere; it is not a substitute for daily ventilation or cleaning.
