This is very richly innervated, and is therefore extremely sensitive. It is normally protected by tears, which form a lubricating tear film.
This Repadrop ophthalmic solution has a double action. It will increase the volume and increase the stability of the tear film. It owes its abilities to moisturizing D-panthenol and hyaluronic acid. The latter active agent also allows healing of the cornea . Another repairing active provided by Repadrop: group B vitamins, which will also increase the protective capacity of the surface of the eye. This ophthalmic solution does not present any incompatibility with the wearing of contact lenses. It does not use a preservative thanks to its dispensing system which preserves the sterility of the solution.
The dry or dry eye syndrome eye is a common ocular discomfort that occurs when there is a lack of lubrication and wetting of the surface of the eye (cornea, conjunctiva and tear film). This happens when the eye does not secrete the necessary amount of tears to maintain good hydration and lubrication or because the tears are of poor quality.
What is dry eye? Dry eye is a condition that can cause discomfort to the person experiencing it and in rarer cases, can cause serious visual problems and lesions in the ocular surface. The low production of tears or the poor quality of them is caused by poor function of the glands, located in the eyelids. These sebaceous glands are those which secrete lipids which serve to hydrate and lubricate the eyes and at the same time, prevent the tears from evaporating the tear film which covers and protects the eye.
Wash hands carefully before using Repadrop ophthalmic solution for corneal protection. Instill 1 or 2 drops in each eye 2 to 3 times a day according to the doctor's prescription. Make sure that there is no contact between the tip of the vial and the eye.
