What is the Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test used for?

Its Smart Dual Sensor™ tells you in text form whether or not you are pregnant and, if you are, estimates approximately how many weeks along you are.

The Clearblue DIGITAL Pregnancy Test with Gestational Age Estimate:

• is over 99% accurate as early as your expected period date;
• is the first test on the market to estimate the gestational age in weeks;
• provides a clear result;

Its sensitivity allows for early detection (up to four days before your expected period). In clinical trials using samples taken early in pregnancy, Clearblue was able to detect one out of every two pregnancies.
However, if you take the test before your expected period and get a “Not Pregnant” result, it is still possible that you are pregnant, as the hormone level may not be high enough for the test to detect it. Take another test on your expected period date.

How do you use the Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test?

1. Testing Your Urine Stream
2. Hold the absorbent strip pointing downward under the urine stream for just 5 seconds.
3. Be careful not to get the rest of the test stick wet.
4. You can replace the cap if you wish and lay the test stick flat.
5. Read the result after 5 seconds.

This product contains batteries. Dispose of them in accordance with local regulations.

Disposing of Your Test
Before disposing of the test stick, remove the battery. Dispose of the battery according to recycling instructions. To remove the battery, insert a coin into the slot at the end and twist to open the back of the test stick, snapping it open. If the battery is not visible, slide the battery holder in the direction of the arrow to make it easier to remove.
Warning: Do not disassemble the battery, recharge it, or dispose of it in a fire. Dispose of the rest of the test strip according to the instructions for recycling electrical equipment. Do not dispose of electrical equipment in a fire.

Always read the manufacturer’s instructions for any medications you are currently taking before performing the test.

Medications containing hCG and certain rare medical conditions may result in false-positive results.

An ectopic pregnancy or a recent pregnancy (even if it was not carried to term) can lead to incorrect results.

If you are going through menopause or premenopause, you may get a false “Pregnant” result, even if you are not pregnant.

The test should not be affected by hormone treatments containing clomiphene citrate, common pain relievers, alcohol, antibiotics, or birth control pills. If you get any unexpected results, discuss them with your doctor.

Multiple or ectopic pregnancies may lead to incorrect results when estimating the gestational age.
