Description of Advocate Medium Dog Bayer

Advocate Medium laboratory dog Bayer is an external veterinary pest control device in the form of pipettes for dogs weighing between 4 and 10kg. It is intended for puppies infected or at risk of mixed parasitic infestations caused by fleas, scabies and nematodes (roundworms) of the following species:

• Fleas: Ctenocephalides felis
• Grinding lice (Trichodectes canis),
• Scabies: Otodectes cynotis, Sarcoptes scabiei var canis, Canine demodicosis (due to Demodex canis),
• Prevention of heartworm disease: L3 and L4 larvae of Dirofilaria immitis, and angiostrongylosis (L4 larvae and immature adults of Angiostrongylus vasorum).
• Angiostrongylosis (Angiostrongylus vasorum) and Crenosoma vulpis
• Gastrointestinal nematodes (roundworms): L4 larvae, immature adults and adult forms of Toxocara canis, Ancylostoma caninum and Uncinaria stenocephala, and adult forms of Toxascar leonina and Trichuris vulpis.

NB: The drug can be integrated into a therapeutic program of Flea Allergy Dermatitis (DAPP).

Advice for use of Advocate Medium Dog Bayer

Use Advocate Medium Dog Bayer one pipette once a month, directly applied to the skin of your pet. Break the tip of the pipette and empty it completely directly between the 2 shoulder blades. The timing and duration of treatment should be based on the local epidemiological situation.

Do not administer to cats. In the absence of available data, do not treat puppies under 7 weeks of age or female dogs that are pregnant or nursing. Wash your hands after every use.
